When designing Cornerstone Bible Church’s marketing collateral, I wanted to create something that would be striking and contrast well in the environments where the signs would be up.  For the general banners, I utilized a darker background to cause an initial notice of contrast, while then incorporating lighter text and information to ensure easier legibility.

For the annual Fall Fun Fest, the first iteration of the marketing collateral used a much brighter theme in order to stand out and attract attention.  One of the issues however was the entire flyer utilized brighter colors, making it slightly harder to notice the text from a distance.  In 2022, we redesigned the banner with a darker background and a more rural theme to fit the fall aesthetic, which not only improved the quality and theme of the advert, but also made it more legible when reading from a distance.
